About Us

The Hipster Exchange began in 2012 after the birth of our first son (one of our very first batches of soap shown above). Like all parents, we wanted a better life for him. We wanted better health, better opportunities, better food, better nutrition, and a better world. These are some big goals.... how could they possibly be achieved?

This is where the concept of the Hipster Exchange came from. Sure, you'll always have department stores and corporate giant ecommerce sites. But how many of them are family owned, sell products you can trust, pay farmers and workers sustainable wages, AND give back to those in need?

Not many. If ANY...

The Hipster Exchange sells only products that we have used, or would use, in our own family. The Bible teaches that ALL people are our family, so you can rest assured there is nothing on this site that we would not use ourselves. We don't just want a better life for us - we want it for you, as well. Putting YOUR best interests and the less fortunate before investors is what we joyfully do.

We strongly believe that all farmers deserve a fair wage. Working in the fields is hard, and without our farmers, we're all in trouble. Plus, they bring us coffee. We pledge to always ensure our farmers can take care of their families. And we hope to join hands with other chemical free farmers to add a plethora of wonderful products for you, and our family.

The Hipster Exchange aims to offer better nutrition options to everyone that comes across our store. God made us all unique. Therefore, each of us has different needs. We don't believe "one size fits all" when it comes to food, vitamins, or supplements. One supplement that works well for our son may not be what our daughter needs. Dig around. Search the options, and please, ask us questions! We are willing to add new products if enough people request.

Most importantly, The Hipster Exchange is unapologetically Christian. We believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. We believe God created a perfect world where there was no suffering until evil entered. Here at the Hipster Exchange, we believe we've been called to be Gods hands and feet; meaning, we do His work and help His people the best we can. We've dedicated ourselves to several agencies across the United States by volunteering our time and/or profits. Our main goals? See families restored. Fill bellies. Keep us all warm. House the homeless. Mend what is broken and share the love of Christ with anyone who is willing to receive it.
